SUMMARY Geghard Visitor Center is a cultural destination that provides guests and visitors with a place where they can connect and experience both the culture and history of the unique location that is Hazaradzor as well as the 13th Century Geghard Monastery. The project generates possibilities for guests and visitors to experience the region of Hazaradzor and its many curiosities in an entirely new way. Visitors can take organized and informed tours to the monuments as well as the surrounding areas. Local villagers play a significant role here, and are provided places to showcase their local food, art, crafts and traditions to guests and visitors.
